 Hello, in light of discussion both within the forum thread for this month's contest and within the event committee, we've decided to post a poll regarding a potential rules change for this month's contest. For the sake of there still being a good amount of time for users to create and submit sequences afterwards, this poll will only be live for the next 4 days. Please keep in mind that, regardless of the poll, in the bottom-half editor theme, setting instrument detune to greater than 1200 for any instruments will not be permitted, and, in the top-half editor theme, setting instrument detune to be more negative than -1200 for any instruments will not be permitted.

This month's theme is a dual theme! For the first theme, you are only allowed to place notes in the bottom half of the editor (B4 and below), and for the second, you are only allowed to place notes in the top half of the editor (C5 and above). Keep in mind that this also applies to the various drum kits!

Please keep in mind that, for the sake of the theming of the contest, using the console to set a custom detune to outside the bounds of what the detune slider normally allows for (±1200) is NOT allowed. Using the console to set a detune WITHIN the bounds is permitted.

• In light of the recent poll, a console detune more negative than -1200 for the bottom-half editor theme and a console detune of greater than 1200 for the top-half editor theme is allowed.
